MISSION STATEMENT
To provide the Air and Expedited Motor Carrier Association members with timely, value added information, education, benefits and opportunities to promote business development through networking with members and industry groups.
STRATEGY
I. Educate forwarders, airlines, logistic providers, regulatory agencies and similar companies in understanding the many advantages of using solution oriented member carriers offering several types of expedited trucking services.
II. Streamline processes with industry partners that result in greater efficiencies.
III. To advocate laws, regulations and other governmental actions which advance the interest of the members
AEMCA MEMBERS
AEMCA members offer a variety of important ground transportation services. These include airport-to-airport connecting runs and local air and expedited cargo pick-up and delivery. They also include same-day service dedicated runs, and time-definite delivery. These are the services that the members of the Air & Expedited Motor Carriers Association (AEMCA) have proudly provided for many years.
The AEMCA is an independent national trade association, and has represented the interests of the air and expedited freight trucking community for over 45 years.
Air and expedited cargo trucking companies offer a variety of important ground transportation services. These include airport-to-airport connecting runs and local air and expedited cargo pick-up and delivery. They also include same-day service dedicated runs, and time-definite delivery.
These are the services that the members of the Air & Expedited Motor Carriers Association (AEMCA) have proudly provided for many years. AEMCA members include: Firms using a variety of equipment including tractor-trailers and straight trucks, serving an entire region or group of state/provinces. � Firms using mainly straight trucks and vans, serving the metropolitan area around one major regional airport. Firms working with airports nationwide, running line hauls day and night to provide connecting service on reliable schedules.
Ancillary providers of goods and services to the air and expedited freight trucking industry, such as computer software, communications equipment, roller bed equipment, truck bodies, insurance, legal counsel, etc. The association also monitors issues facing the industry, such as access to credit information on forwarders and shippers, FAA cargo security regulations, updates on cargo theft and security and many other issues related to the trucking industry.
