AEROGISTICS TO PUBLISH NEW AIR FREIGHT SERVICE GUIDE

Aerogistics Worldwide, an Annapolis, Maryland based consultancy group, announced today its intentions to publish and maintain an air freight ground service pickup and delivery guide designed to fulfill the ongoing informational needs of air freight industry participants throughout the United States and Canada, as well as throughout the world.

The new publication will be known as the “Tariff of Airfreight Ground Services” (acronym “TAGS”).   TAGS’ inaugural issue is planned for early Fall 2005.  TAGS will be published in hard copy format initially, with an electronic version being made available shortly thereafter.

Brown Wilder, president of Aerogistics, indicated today that “There is a great need especially in the U.S. for ground service data.”  Wilder futher pointed out that, “The shipping and receiving public, airlines, air freight forwarders and truckers hunger for this type of information on an on-going basi.,”

“There is no regulated ground service tariff of any kind presently published and there is no on-going availability of such information for the public or our industry participants to access,” Mr. Wilder stated.

Rocky Wilson, Aerogistics’ vice president of marketing, elaborated that, “TAGS will not be limited to the rate/service parameters previously encountered within industry publications. We intend to offer one of the most comprehensive and effective industry publications in the world.”

“TAGS will supply air freight ground service and pickup and delivery information covering tens of thousands of cities and towns surrounding hundreds of airports in the U.S. and Canada,” Mr. Wilder continued.  “It is only axiomatic that we expand from there into other arenas of critical information,” he stated.
